Candace Hardin is a writer/author/ poet who always dreamed about starting a literary magazine.
A magazine made for those who create, a venue for all art and literature as literature in any form as well as art, is good. All works may not appeal to all people, but it is valuable and worth seeing in print, without the adding the pressure of most material publishers bring to the table whose goal is only to make a profit.
Candace grew up in Western North Carolina, attended St. Genevieve / Gibbons Hall School in Asheville, NC, and has been greatly influenced in her writing by the culture in the Appalachians.
She attributes her love of words to her Mother, who taught her to read at four years old, and gifted her with a Golden Treasury of Poetry at eight years old. This led to a lifelong love of literature and poetry.
She is 100% fluent in Spanish and a student of Latin, and has a true love of “Auld English.”
